I need to claim, what am I required to do?

It is your responsibility to prepare and present a claim. You have a huge task ahead of you to collate and justify every item or element that forms part of the insurance claim. This is a critical and time-consuming process - no matter what you believe or what you have been told, you are NOT insured until the insurer has investigated the circumstances & accepts liability for the claim. Only then can a claim progress. Without proper guidance, this can be a minefield to navigate, as you may unknowingly affect your claim without realising it.

What can I expect when I claim?

The insurer will appoint their own representatives to look after their interests. Their first job is to investigate the validity of the claim and check the technical content of your policy. They will concentrate on any warranties, exclusions, or special requirements which are in the small print in order to reduce or repudiate (decline) the claim where possible.

What is a Loss Assessor?

The insurer will appoint their own representatives to look after their interests and protect their potential financial exposure. A Loss Assessor works exclusively for you. A Loss Adjuster's first job is to investigate the validity of the claim and check the technical content of your policy. They will concentrate on any warranties, exclusions, or special requirements which are in the small print in order to reduce or repudiate (decline) the claim where possible. A Loss Assessor is your Professional there for you every step of the way.

What is a Loss Adjuster?

The insurer will appoint their own representatives to look after their interests. A loss adjuster's only role is to limit the financial exposure to their principles. Their first job is to investigate the validity of the claim and check the technical content of your policy. They will concentrate on any warranties, exclusions, or special requirements which are in the small print in order to reduce or repudiate (decline) the claim where possible. They will not prepare or present a claim for you. Their allegiance is to the Insurers. A Loss Assessor is your Professional there for you every step of the way.

Why do I need a Loss Assessor?

Your Insurer will have their own professionals to look after them. You will feel like you are not in control. We are the Professionals on your side working exclusively for you. The insurer's representatives will not collate the claim for you. It is your responsibility to mitigate any damage and prevent it from spreading. Insurance Loss Assessors have vast experience in Insurance Claims Management and are able to handle all aspects of the claim including all communications with the Insurance Company. The role of a Loss Assessor is to get everything you are entitled to and take away the stress. We help you notify the Insurance Company who would then send a Loss Adjuster to view and inspect the Incident. A Loss Assessor would be there for you every step of the way. We are your specialist team on your side. A Loss Assessor is your Professional there for you every step of the way.

What will you charge me?

We charge a small percentage of the gross settlement for our Loss Assessing service. It will be agreed upon upfront so this is completely transparent for our Claims Handling Service. The fees are usually adsorbed many times over by the increase in settlement the, Insurance Assessor will get for you. The percentage is determined by the size and complexity of the circumstances of the claims.
